They all have an off switch. And you know where it is.

Sift doesn't. You set a timer, you pick your sites, and that's the last decision you get to make. No pause, no disable, no password you set and can therefore also type. This screen is what it looks like doing its job.

The whole app

One window. A list, a number, and a button you can't undo.

No dashboard, no streaks, no productivity score to game. Sift has exactly one feature and its whole personality is refusing to negotiate about it. Drop in a list, drag the slider, leave yourself a note — the whole window is the configuration surface.

How it works

01 — How it works

Pick your poison

Type domains or drop in a ready-made set — social, video, news. Sift remembers the list between sessions.

Set the clock

Five minutes to a full day. This is the last moment you have any say in the matter, so choose like you mean it.

Do the work

The window goes quiet. You can add more sites, you can add more time — you cannot subtract either.

02 — Go on, try

Every trick you've used to weasel out. Pick one.

This is the real list of escape routes Sift closes, and the real reason each one fails. We know them because we used all of them.

Waiting. Choose an escape route above and watch it not work.

Why it holds

03 — Why it holds

Below the browser
A signed system extension filters traffic at the network layer, not in a tab. Whatever browser you open, it's already there.
The app is not the lock
Quitting Sift closes a window. The session lives in the extension and keeps running without it.
The clock isn't yours
Sessions end on monotonic system uptime. Winding the date forward buys you nothing, and we do notice.
Nothing leaves your Mac
No account, no history upload, no server that knows what you block. The list is a file you own.

04 — Price

Four dollars a month to stop arguing with yourself.

Roughly one coffee, versus the four hours you were about to lose. 7 days free, no card up front. Cancelling takes two clicks — we save the friction for the part that matters.

Payment coming soon

Downloads are paused while checkout is set up. Nothing to buy yet, and nothing to install.

05 — iOS, eventually

The phone version is coming. We'll email you once, when it's real.

One email. Not a newsletter. We don't have anything to say monthly.
